ZenGo Wallet Review

ZenGo was founded in 2018 in Israel and introduced a novel approach to wallet security. Instead of traditional private keys or seed phrases, it uses threshold signature cryptography (MPC) to split the key material between the user's device and ZenGo's servers. Neither side alone can sign a transaction.

This means users never need to write down a seed phrase, which eliminates one of the most common causes of crypto loss. Account recovery works through biometric authentication and email verification rather than a 12-word phrase.

ZenGo supports over 120 cryptocurrencies and includes built-in buying via MoonPay or Transak. The free version covers most features; ZenGo Pro ($19.99/month) adds a legacy transfer feature that passes assets to a designated contact if the account is inactive for a set period.
